In just one year, Blacks in Nonprofits (BIN) platform has grown to over 23,000 amazing nonprofit leaders of color from all over the world. Founded by Dr. Rhonika (Dr. Rho) Thomas, Blacks in Nonprofits’ focus is to connect blacks in the nonprofit sector across the world; to establish a positive space for coming together by supporting, networking, and sharing information pertaining to anything nonprofit (related); to build each other up and increase our impact collectively in our individual cities and neighborhoods. BIN’s motto is “Better Together.” As shared by Dr. Rho in the foreword of their newest book Blacks in Nonprofits: Marketing, Branding & Social Media How to Make Your Nonprofit Stand Out! “Throughout our BIN platform, questions on how to properly market your nonprofit came up frequently, and we wanted to provide a hands-on resource guide to assist with this task.”
